About the Photograph

When walking around Manhattan, looking up usually gives the most breathtaking views. These two massive skyscrapers are 1221 and 1251 Avenue of the Americas. I had been impressed by their magnificence since the first day I saw them and I was looking for a unique perspective to capture these giants. Standing between them and looking straight upwards turned out to give me the best perspective. The ultimate effect was compounded by reflections of sunlight on the steel and glass facades.
