I just returned from a two-week vacation in Poland and the first thing I did next morning was grabbing the camera and rushing to Manhattan in pursuit of new photographs. After getting off the E train on 8Av/42St station, I hanged around Midtown and stopped by Times Square for a brief moment. It's a tourist attraction and there was actually nothing interesting for me in this place anymore, but I still enjoyed occasionally passing by it when in neighborhood. This time, however, the light inside Times Square was unusual. Glass facades of the surrounding office buildings worked like giant mirrors and bounced the sun rays to the streets. Having been a traditionalist, I was seeking to create a photograph with a few city accents in it. Kind of a postcard. I kept waiting until I could capture two yellow cabs, which finally appeared in a perfect distance to each other, so that I could acquire my desired composition in this fantastic light.
