“Limited edition” means that a photograph can be printed in the maximum number of copies specified for the edition, across all sizes and variants. Once the edition is sold out, it will not be continued in the future, hence a specific number of copies remains in circulation, no more than the limit declared for the edition.
Limited editions are printed on selected premium photo papers, which in combination with archival pigments ensure a wide tonal range and excellent color depth, as well as their durability for more than a century. The “museum standard” we apply refers to the entire manufacturing process, thus also to the technology and all the materials used for the complete work (acrylic glass, frames, etc.). We maintain an uncompromising level of care, which is crucial for the artwork to evoke the desired aesthetic impressions and for it to retain its properties and quality over the long term. Therefore, along with the limited edition photograph, the Buyer receives a guarantee of quality and durability, confirmed by the Certificate of Authenticity*.
Each limited edition artwork, once completed in the lab, is subject to Wojtek's personal inspection (or another expert's, if the order is made through a foreign lab) prior to shipping to the Buyer.
*Printed Certificate of Authenticity is issued for works minimum 120 cm (45") wide. For smaller artworks CoA is emailed in electronic version to the Buyer.
Open editions are not subject to quantity limits. We create them using the same highest standards as for limited editions.
Many of the photographs are licensed to agencies and companies, hence you can also find and purchase them on other, unrelated sites. However, only Zagorski Fine Art Gallery retains the RAW source files from which the final works are created, and systematically refines the images using the latest software available. Therefore, we can offer works of unrivaled quality.
Regardless of the option you choose, you receive a lasting work of art, which is created as a result of a complex process that takes many hours to complete, and in all respects meets the highest market standards used by reputable photography galleries. In order to streamline the processing of orders, as well as to
prevent the customer from being burdened with additional shipping costs and customs tax, we produce the works in the customer's destination country whenever possible. We collaborate on a permanent basis with labs in the United States and Europe which specialize in printing large-format fine art photography. As a result, we are able to deliver photographs as quickly as possible, in almost any region of the world, and always with the same uncompromising quality. At the same time, we thus protect the Buyer from incurring unnecessary expenses.
We also care about the environment, which is why we do not produce photographs in bulk, but each time on the individual order of the Buyer, for whom the carefully made work will serve for many years or even survive for future generations. Therefore, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations, ordered works of art, once made in the laboratory, are not subject to return.
Pearl
Photo print on Epson® photographic paper of 230-240gsm thickness (or similar grade) and excellent parameters, which provide great tonality, color depth and their long-term resistence to fading. Photography in this form is delivered in a tube or protective cardboard.
Crystal
UV print on high quality 5mm thick acrylic glass. This variant resembles the flagship “Diamond” category, but in this case the image is printed directly on the underside of the glossy, crystal clear acrylic glass. The image thus gains an optical impression of depth. After framing, the print is additionally protected on the back with fibreboard or white PVC board (dependently on the work's size).
* The Crystal variant, except for orders arranged with the Gallery individually, is currently available only in Poland.
Platinum
Photo print on luxury fine art archival paper: MOAB™ Juniper Baryta Rag or Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Baryta 315, made of 100% natural cotton, without artificial brighteners, with superior aging resistance. Depending on the size, the artwork is delivered in a tube or protective cardboard and requires framing.
Diamond
A proposition for the most demanding collectors, whose execution is based on Swiss Diasec® technology. The photograph is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Glossy 260 paper, then mounted on a dibond composite panel and protected on the front with 3mm thick acrylic glass (so-called face-mounted), which gives the image an optical impression of depth. The artwork has a mounting frame on the back, which allows it to be hung on the wall, and it looks best in this form. It is possible to mount acrylic glass of greater thickness (5mm or more) and to frame the photograph in a floater frame.
Open editions are made in variants: Pearl, Crystal and Diamond, and limited editions in variants: Platinum and Diamond.
