I found this location on a forum, but getting there was pretty hard. I had to walk down in a rush through a steep slope to set the gear. My biggest concern as a landscape photographer is usually weather. Having numerous locations in plans and only 8 days to complete it, this was the only opportunity (and the priority) to capture Downtown LA skyline from this spot. The sunset was amazing... Admittedly, the sun was hidden behind the clouds, but it filled the sky with beautiful orange cast and the clouds made it look incredibly dramatic. I spent around 2 hours there, capturing the city at sunset, twilight and night, varying perspective and settings. Another dream came true and another goal was accomplished! The view was breathtaking.
