Historia

I was visiting Griffith Park for the second time in my life. My previous trip took place four years before, in 2016. The first attempt to photograph Downtown LA skyline wasn't successful, because in August smog was covering the skyline substantially due to enhanced traffic. This time, however, I was visiting in March and the conditions were much more pleasing - meaning that the city and the surrounding area was clearly visible. I spent there afternoon and evening, working on creating a satisfying single photograph and a panorama of the entire agglomeration. Downtown is located far away from Griffith, so I used a 70-200mm zoom lens. The downside was that gusts of wind caused little vibrations and even my solid Manfrotto tripod wasn't able to keep the camera perfectly stable. Therefore, aiming at keeping my works perfectly sharp, I couldn't use long time exposure, which fortunately wasn't necessary. I managed to achieve both of my goals, anyways, with stunning results.
