The Story

It was a freezing winter morning, especially by the Hudson river. However, this time getting up in the middle of the night paid off. The view of Manhattan skyline, which looked like enormous, but empty, tranquil and quiet city at the moment (in contrary to what one can see at daytime), was totally worth the effort. Especially when the sun began rising, backlighting the skyscrapers and creating this incredible glow… Pay attention to the details, like the steam coming from the rooftops of the buildings in Downtown Manhattan, or the sun rays clearly coming out from behind the skyline.
