Hamilton Park in Weehawken, NJ appears to me as one of the most grateful spots to observe Manhattan skyline. The view from there is unlike from anywhere else, especially thanks to the high altitude on which its located. That evening I visited it again with a purpose of creating a panorama of Midtown. I made a few attempts and ultimately decided I wasn't satisfied with the results. Therefore, after having completed the main task for the night without success, I focused on particular excerpts of the city. This photograph presents the Empire State Building with Hudson Yards, and for that reason I initially named it "History vs. Modernity". Hudson Yards is a complex of buildings of especial significance to me, as I watched it being constructed since I moved to New York in 2014. Its construction almost exactly marks the period when I lived there.
